Andrei Naumovich
Secretary General of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus
Andrei Naumovich is the Head of the Secretariat of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus since April 2019, while remaining a Member of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the sixth convocation. Before that post, he was elected as a Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the fifth convocation (2012 – 2016). In 2010 – 2012, Mr. Naumovich served as a Chairman of the Grodno Regional Council of Deputies, earlier – as a Chairman of the Korelichi District Executive Committee. He devoted almost 15 years of his working experience to educational and social activities, working in various positions in the Korelichi district of the Grodno region. In 1985, he graduated from Minsk State Pedagogical Institute named after A.M.Gorky majoring in “Geography and Biology”, in 1990 – Belarusian State Institute of National Economy named after V.V.Kuybyshev with a degree in Agriculture Planning. In 2009, Mr. Naumovich has got a qualification “Specialist in Public Administration” at Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus. He is a Member of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on Human Rights, National Relations and Mass Media; Working Groups of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on Cooperation with the Parliaments of Algeria, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Poland; Deputation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus to the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy, to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia, a Chairman of the Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia for Information Policy.
