Mr. Davit Arakelyan is the Secretary General of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia since February 2023.

He graduated from the Armenian National Agrarian University, holds the Bachelor’s degree of Examination, Standardization and Certification of Agricultural Production and Provisions. Now he is achieving his Master’s degree in Political science at the National Academy of Science.

In 2019 he was appointed as the Expert of the office of Vice President of the National Assembly of RA. In 2021-2022 he served as the Assistant of the President of the National Assembly. In 2022 he was appointed as the Chief of Staff of the office of the President of the Republic of Armenia (when during the constitutional term the President of the National Assembly of RA served as the President of the Republic) and reappointed as the Assistant of the President of the National Assembly (after the inauguration of the nominated President of the Republic).
